New World Festival is a brand new one-day dance festival held on part of the old V Festival site in Chelmsford. This year’s event is kicking off the season with a bang, offering clubbers the chance to marvel at a diverse musical spectrum of house, garage, bass, D & B and the old school flavours.

This festival has promised to take the UK by Storm with a star-studded line up of talent including big names such as DJ EZ . Nathan Dawe. James Hype, ShiftK3y Majestic , SKT. Charlie Hedges. Artful Dodger. DJ Luck & McNeat Ratpack. Slipmatt. Pioneer. Sam Supplier. Sammy Porter. Danny T, Jess Bays. Alex P. Richie Don. Floyd T. Kane Solo and many more.

Competition Information

The competition will be broken up into 2 rounds.  Round 1 and The Final.

Round 1 – Monday the 14^th of April – Monday the 24^th of May

JW DJ Agency will be accepting mix entries on behalf of the New World Fest from the 10th of April until the 24^th of May 2021.

The Final – Thursday the 10^th of June 2021 Time 12pm -6pm

5 finalists will be chosen from round 1 and invited to compete live via live stream at Players’ Lounge Billericay Essex. The finalists are required to be available on 10^th of June 2021. All government restrictions regarding Covid regulations will be adhered to at all times and finalists will be required to have a rapid Covid test on the morning of the final.

• Track selection
• Technical abilities
• Creativity
• Originality
• Energy and Flair

Genres – Disco, Funky, Vocal, Jacking, Deep House

Record your one-hour mix (no more, no less than 60 minutes)

Add your track listing
Upload your mix on the music platform Mix Cloud using our artwork (artwork can be found on our Facebook pages)

Upload your mix with the title – New World Fest DJ Competition – “Your DJ Name”
Drop your mix onto our JW DJ Agency Facebook group
